It’s time to enjoy some summertime entertainment! Instead of being in the kitchen, I personally want to get outside. I love to entertain, as you may know by now. Al fresco dining has always been a favorite, especially now in these times. Although we may not be able to travel abroad this summer, instead we can bring these “travels” to our backyards.

Create Your Destination at Home

Create a fabulous cheese board, filled with meats and cheeses, delicious olives, and dried fruits, topped with truffle honey and yummy marmalades. Pair the cheese platter with your favorite bottle of Rosé or cocktail and you have “landed” at your “destination”.

Throw your colorful veggies in pretty wooden bowls with some fresh dill and yogurt dip and you will feel like you are in St Tropez again!

Arrange burrata and tomatoes with some fresh avocado and drizzled olive oil and balsamic glaze and you can reminisce about your Italian summers.

Whatever it is that satisfies your appetite, this summer, be creative and embrace your own version of “traveling”. We may actually be home this summer, but we can travel the world by creating it with the way we present our food. Have fun, embrace this time and enjoy the home.
